- Always trim the wick: Before lighting, trim the wick to 1/4 inch. This prevents excessive flickering, soot, and uneven burning.
- Burn on a stable surface: Place your candle on a heat resistant, level surface, away from flammable materials, drafts, and vibrations.
- Never leave unattended: Always keep burning candles within sight. Extinguish the flame when leaving the room or before going to bed.
- Keep away from children and pets: Make sure candles are out of reach of children and pets.
- Burn for 3-4 hours max: For best performance and safety, allow your candle to burn for no more than 3-4 hours at a time. Let the wax cool before relighting.
- Use a snuffer to extinguish: Avoid blowing out your candle. Instead, use a snuffer to prevent hot wax splatter and keep the wick centered.
- Discard when 1/2 inch of wax remains: Once the candle has about 1/2 inch of wax left, it's time to stop burning. This prevents overheating the container.
